I believe that there is a good chance that Obama will be re-elected as president due to the fact that the republican candidates, at least in my opinion, don't pose much of a threat.I think what is meant by this is that Obama can only do so much in the time he is given. He had to deal with so much and had such a stressful term that he really didn't have enough time to do this. I also think that the writer is trying to say that creating jobs is a long term thing and that we have to have be patient.
